Key Accountabilities: 

  • Lead and manage the staff at First Steps
  • Lead on recruitment of new staff
  • Lead on quality within the charity and the implementation of PQASSO
  • Oversee the volunteers of First Steps
  • Oversee the day to day running of the charity
  • Support the development of new policies and procedures, including the Equality and Diversity strategy, and the implementation of these

Rob began working for First Steps in 2010 after a short period as a volunteer for the charity

Rob previously worked as an Area Manager in Financial Services before joining the voluntary sector.

Away from First Steps Rob is a keen walker and DIY enthusiast and normally has at least one project to keep him occupied!
